Seminole COUNTY
Kamala D. Harris & Tim Walz
For President & Vice President of the United States
Vice President Kamala Harris has devoted her career to fighting for the people. As the daughter of parents who brought her to civil rights marches in a stroller, she was inspired to tackle injustice from an early age. She took that mission to county courtrooms, the California Attorney General’s office, the United States Senate, and the White House. Now she is running for President of the United States to continue protecting our freedoms, delivering justice, and expanding opportunity so that every American can not just get by, but get ahead.
Debbie Mucarsel-Powell
For United States Senate
Debbie Mucarsel-Powell is a proud mother and Floridian running to be Florida’s next U.S. Senator. Debbie got her start working her way from a minimum wage job at a donut shop to serving as the first South American immigrant in Congress. Since then, she has delivered hundreds of millions of dollars in transit investments and Everglades restoration funds to Florida, written the bill to expand Medicare, and fought to protect Floridians’ freedoms. Debbie and her husband Robert live in Miami and have three children.
Kelley Diona Miller
State House, District 36
As a community leader, Kelley Diona currently serves as an Executive Committee Member for the Seminole County NAACP Branch. Kelley Diona spends every day advocating for others and she's running for Florida State House because we need a people's advocate fighting for our interests in Tallahassee. Kelley Diona is running to tackle our homeowner's insurance crisis, protect reproductive and voter freedoms, fight the affordability crisis, and take common sense approaches to tackle gun laws, mental health, and substance abuse challenges in Florida. Kelley Diona lives in the Sanford/Lake Mary area with her 12-year-old son.
Nate Douglas
State House, District 37
Nate Douglas is an educator, policy researcher, and the youngest elected official in Orange County history. Raised by hard-working first generation immigrants, Nate saw his mother – a teacher of 25 years – take on a part time job at a theme park, and his father – a landscaper – open up a small business just to make ends meet. Nate entered politics with a vow to protect working-class families like his own. He advocates for homeowners and renters against exploitative practices, champions bodily autonomy under a regressive state government, and fights to protect our environment from the influence of big developers and fossil fuel industries.
Sarah Henry
State House, District 38
Sarah Henry's passion for political advocacy was born at a young age, with an elementary school assignment about the laws she would change as the President of the United States. Sarah’s career in non-profits has been driven by her commitment to social change and finding joy in hard work and bettering the communities around her. As a longtime member of this community living in beautiful Altamonte Springs with her husband and their pit bull mix, Maisel, Sarah will fight for her neighbors every day in Tallahassee.
Marsha Summersill
State House, District 39
Marsha Summersill, candidate for State House District 39, is a lifelong advocate for Florida’s families and children. Born and raised in Apopka, Marsha’s career spans from an advocate for children and victims of abuse with DCF, the Child Protection Team, and Children’s Legal Services for 18 years. Inspired by the tragic loss of her brother due to Florida’s flawed healthcare system, Marsha is determined to fight for quality accessible healthcare and address critical shortages in the industry. With a focus on protecting reproductive rights and tackling the property insurance crisis, Marsha will prioritize the needs of Floridians over corporate interests in Tallahassee.
